Ooh hai Addicts,
I'm wondering if everyone is pleased with IPB or if you want us to switch to vBulletin (no data will be lost).
Please vote the poll.
With kind regards,
Gemini

Just do it =]
Vbulletin is faster, has a better control panel and alot more member options.
Aside,, it has the same or even more adjustment options because you can edit the entire code without harming the copyright.. (Ofcourse there ARE a few limits like not editing the hard source)
I say go vbulletin.

I voted Yes... Because!
vBulletin seems to be faster than this, even thou this might have more flexibility.
Also, I find the vBulletin mapping more pleasant.
Aslong there wont be any Data Loss I wont mind it.

Some points:
- The slow speeds are due to the server, not the forum, there will be no change here.
- vBulletin has the same amount of flexibility, and I know from experience, again no change.
- If he does decide to switch, there should be minimal loss in the conversion.

I'd say, stay.
vBulletin is over-rated in my opinion.
Everyone uses vBulletin already, I think IPBoard is just as good as vBulletin, yet it's in my opinion easier to use.
IPBoard is also something special, which is good imo.

In C#, you easily shoot yourself in the foot. In C++, you'll blow your whole leg off.

I'd say stick with this forum, but update the server specs a bit more.
